Do All Religions Lead to the Same Place?
This Tract answers that question
This tract gives a list of many religions on the front, and asks the question "Are they all roads to Heaven or do they lead to different places?" This tract is great to give to almost anyone.
Front of Tract:
Are they all roads to Heaven or do they lead to different places?
Hare Krishna, Scientology, Islam, Hindu, Taoism, Christianity, Baha'i Humanism, Buddhism, Kabalah, Mormanism, Wicca
Some people will tell you that it doesn't matter what a person believes, just so they believe.
Inside of Tract:
You may have heard that there are many ways to get into Heaven. Some people have gone so far as to say that it doesn't matter what you believe, just as you believe in something. They may not be right, but they do bring p an interesting question... Does it matter what we believe?
The answer is Yes. It does matter what we believe, because that determines who or what we put our faith in.
You will see in the news these days, stories about people who have had their entiere life savings lost or stolen from them by someone they trust. These people have put their trust in the wrong person.
The same thing can happen to us spiritually. Satan is the greatest con artist the world has ever known. He tells us the lie that there are other ways to get into Heaven besides Jesus Christ. This is contradicted by the Bible in John 14:6 when Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh to the father but by me."
Some people get really angry with a con artist and will do everything in their power to stop him, but at the same time, they will not do anything to stop Satan from stealing the souls of their felow man. In truth, some people don't even care about the spiritual condition of anyone.
Remember that it is far worse to be fooled by Satan and lose your soul than it is to be fooled by a person and lose your money or other posessions.
What about religion? In all of eternity, will it matter which one you belonged to? Or perhaps we should ask, "Is there a better way to get into Heaven?"
Let's start by looking at what we mean by "religion." The Latin word that we get our word religion from (religo) means to bind back. Religion is man's way of trying to bind (or find) his way back to God. All religions teach that you must work yourself back to God through being a good person or treating other people well.
Religions teach that God will look at how well you have lived your life and decide if you will go to Heaven or Hell; but Christianity is not a religion.
Christianity does not teach that you can make it to Heaven by being good or treating your fellow man well.
There is nothing with wrong with trying to live a good life, in fact, God expects that much from everyone. Just remember that being good will not help you to get into Heaven (Titus 3:5).
So, if being good won't help you get into Heaven, what will? The Bible tells us that sin has a price. "For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 3:23). The price for sin in your life is death.
There are two kinds of death: physical death and spiritual death. Physical death is the separation of your body from your soul and spirit. Spiritual death is being separated from God in Hell for all of eternity.
It all boils down to this; religion is man's way of trying to win favor with God and Christianity is God's way of taking care of sin so that we can go to live with thim for all of eternity. He made a way for us to be forgiven of all of our sins.
The Bible tells us in Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God sent His own Son, Jesus Christ to die for us while were were sinners. He didn't wait for us to get right with Him. God accepts us just the way we are. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect, sinless life, then He died on a cross to pay for the sins of our lives. "In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. (Ephesians 1:7)
He paid the price for your sins so you could go to Heaven, but you must accept this payment that He made for you (John 3:36). Then you be a child of God (John 1:12). God gives you the choice of trusting His way to Heaven or choosing to try another way there. Remember that you can be religious, but not be right with God. Please accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour so you can have everlasting life.
If you want to know how much God loved you, just put your name in the place of "whosoever believeth on Him" in the verse John 3:16.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that (Your Name) should not perish, but have everlasting life.
If you can sincerely put your name in the sopt above, on the authority of God's word, you can know that you have eternal life (I John 5:10-13).
Back of Tract:
Here is a sample prayer. Please use this as a guideline if you are having difficulty finding the words to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour.
Dear Lord,
I know that I am a sinner, and that there is no way that I can get myslef into Heaven. I know that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, and I am accepting the payment that He made for me. Please forgive me of my sins and allow me to live in Heaven with you someday. God, I thank you for forgiving me of my sins. Please help me to serve you in my daily life. In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
